What to expect.

We know the hiring process can be confusing for those looking to make a career move. Here’s a step-by-step look at what you can expect and helpful tips from Michelle Perez, Key Private Bank Market Manager and Hiring Manager, and Recruiting Manager Megan Lallo.

Research

To learn more about our business and culture, visit About Key. This knowledge will help you stand out in the process.

Do your homework. Strong applicants demonstrate a good working knowledge of our company and industry.
— Megan Lallo

Application

Our application takes about 10 minutes to complete. Some roles require you to take an assessment after you apply. You will receive an email if there is anything you need to do post-application.

Recruiter Screening

If we identify you as a qualified candidate, a recruiter will schedule a 30- to 45-minute phone call with you to get to know you and learn more about your background.

Our recruiters know what we are looking for and hiring managers trust their guidance. Treat this phone conversation like an interview.
— Michelle Perez

Hiring Manager Interviews

Our interview process varies by business line. Your recruiter will guide you through the process.

This step is also an opportunity for you to interview us. Prepare to ask us questions and assess whether we are a good match for you. If you hope to proceed in the process, then don't forget to thank your interviewer and reiterate why you are the right person for the job.
— Megan Lallo

Offer

If you are the right person for the role, we first extend a verbal offer to you by phone. Then we send a more formal written offer by email.

Make sure you understand all the details of the offer and the timeline before providing an answer. Also, remember to use this time as an opportunity to address your concerns and questions.
