Benton Au is a Vice President focused on advising both public and private companies in a variety of merger & acquisition, capital raising, and strategic advisory transactions. Benton joined Cain Brothers (KeyBanc Capital Markets) in 2017 and has over 8 years of experience across M&A, strategic advisory, and valuation. Benton’s notable transactions include the sale of Good Neighbor to Sevita (f/k/a The Mentor Network), the sale of Senior Helpers to Advocate Aurora, the sale of Affinity Health Plan to Molina Healthcare, the carve-out of Valor Healthcare from Concentra (Select Medical) to Trive Capital, the recapitalization of Caregiver with Windrose Health Investors and the sale of Invo Healthcare to Golden Gate Capital.
Prior to joining the firm, Benton was an Associate at JP Morgan where he worked in a variety of derivatives pricing and treasury functions across the investment bank.
Benton earned a BA in Economics from Southern Methodist University and an MBA from Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management.
