Chris Headrick joined KeyBanc Capital Markets in early 2005 and is a Managing Director in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group. He focuses on providing strategic advice to both public and private companies. He is based out of the San Francisco office and heads up the firm’s Technology and West Coast M&A practices with sector focus on Software, IT Services and eCommerce. Chris was previously a Vice President in the Mergers & Acquisition Group at Piper Jaffray in San Francisco, where he focused on M&A transactions in the Software and Internet sectors. Chris was also an Associate in the Corporate Finance Group at UBS in Chicago and New York City focused on traditional corporate finance in the Outsourced Business Services sector. Prior to that, he was a Senior Associate in the M&A Advisory Group for Arthur Andersen in New York providing sell-side advisory work and other business valuation services. Throughout his career, Chris has been directly involved in over 100 M&A/advisory transactions, consisting of sell-side, buy-side, fairness opinions, strategic alternatives and private capital assignments predominately on companies in the middle market. Chris graduated from Williams College with an AB in Economics and received an MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business with a concentration in Finance and Accounting. Chris was also a licensed CPA in the state of New York.
