Michael O’Hare is a Managing Director and spearheads the firm’s enterprise infrastructure software group. With over 25 years of investment banking experience, Michael provides strategic, financial and transaction execution advice to corporate technology clients. Michael represented Stackdriver in its sale to Google, Passkey in its sale to Lanyon, BoxTone in its sale to Good Technology, JAMF Software in its series B Financing led by Summit Partners, Ubiquisys in its sale to Cisco Systems, SevOne in its series B Financing led by Bain Capital, AppAssure Software in its sale to Dell, Fizzback in its sale to NICE-Systems, dynaTrace software and Gomez in their respective sales to Compuware, Coradiant and ProactiveNet in their respective sales to BMC Software, InStranet in its sale to salesforce.com, Quest Software in rendering an opinion for the acquisition of ScriptLogic, Bristol Technology and Trinagy in their respective sales to Hewlett-Packard, BlueStripe, AVIcode and DesktopStandard in their respective sales to Microsoft, GETPAID in its sale to SunGard Data Systems and Extended Systems in its sale to Sybase, among others. Michael was previously Head of M&A at Oppenheimer and Co. and WR Hambrecht + Co. Prior to joining WR Hambrecht + Co, he specialized in M&A at SoundView Technology Group, Gerard Klauer Mattison, Furman Selz and Lehman Brothers. Michael holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Indiana University.
