Louisa C. Guthrie, Senior Vice President, is the Key Private Bank Executive for KeyCorp's Cleveland district, heading up all wealth management activities for the district. Louisa sets the strategic direction for Key's offering of investment management, financial planning, private banking and trust and estate planning services to the market.
With a specialty in wealth management and private banking, Louisa has significant expertise in strategic positioning, business development, talent acquisition, people management, target marketing, sales management and training. She has had consistent success in building profitable businesses, including start-ups, and has a broad and deep background in a wide range of Wealth Management issues, services and products.
Louisa began her career with Chase Manhattan Bank in New York City and has held senior level positions with The Citibank Private Bank, Bank of Montreal's Harris Private Bank, Wells Fargo Private Client Services and Strategic Positioning Associates, a wealth management consulting firm. She is considered an expert on "program sale" approaches to affinity groups, and Life and Career Cycle financial stages, and has often served as a media spokesperson on Wealth Management issues.
As a graduate of Dartmouth College, Louisa has a BA in International Affairs/French and a specialty in Canadian/American relations. She has completed a number of graduate programs in marketing, corporate finance and strategic leadership. Louisa has a number of outside interests and participates in a variety of charitable and civic organizations in the community. She is also active in Dartmouth alumni activities and has served as an elected member to the College's Alumni Council.
