About Stephen Hoedt

Steve is Managing Director of Equities for Key Wealth Management. In this role, Steve is responsible for overseeing our internal actively managed equity strategies for both private and institutional clients. He also supervises individual equity due diligence and equity trading. Within the research team he is actively involved in the coverage of Energy, Industrials, and Materials.

Prior to joining Key, Steve was the Industrials and Materials analyst for National City Corporation’s Private Client Group. He began his investment career in 1993 with a regional brokerage firm in Detroit as an equity research analyst with responsibilities for the computer hardware and software industries. Steve has been quoted in several publications, including Barron’s and The Wall Street Journal, and has also appeared on CNBC and Bloomberg TV.

Steve holds a BA in Business Administration from Wittenberg University and received his MBA in Finance from Michigan State University. Steve also holds the Chartered Market Technician® designation and is a member of the CMT Association.
