Community and Employee Matching Gift Programs

Key supports your personal efforts to help our communities thrive.

Matching your charitable gifts and providing community grants are just some of the ways Key uses its resources to support and enhance the communities where we live and work.


In addition to the matching gift programs outlined below, employees have access to many volunteer and giving opportunities throughout the year, including the Neighbors Make the Difference Day Program and the Key4Community Volunteer Portal.

  • Employee Matching Gift Program
    The KeyBank Foundation will contribute one dollar for every dollar you contribute, up to a maximum of $2,000 per employee annually. An additional $2,000 may be matched if the employee is a member of the board of a qualifying nonprofit organization, or is on the capital campaign committee for that organization. The minimum gift that will be matched is $25.
  • Community Leadership Gift Program
    The Community Leadership Gift Program provides up to four $500 grants to qualifying organizations per year per eligible employee through the KeyBank Foundation. Certain organizations are not eligible for grants, including churches, temples and other places of worship; organizations that advance a political purpose; trade or professional associations; international organizations; and organizations that lead to the direct benefit of KeyCorp, its affiliates, its employees, any member of an employee's family or any individual designated by Key or its employee.
