The Key Private Client Program provides consultation and financial advice to clients early in their wealth-building journeys (up to $2 million in investable assets). Mass affluent clients seek advice and want to be actively involved in managing their finances. Key is providing clients with a more holistic financial solution by collaborating across business lines.
We offer cash management, lending, mortgage, investment, and small business solutions and use best-in-class financial tools to guide client financial plans and help them understand the full scope of our capabilities. With more than 1,000 bank branches, 5,000 retail employees, 3 million existing clients, and the full backing of the bank’s centers of excellence — we build strong referral networks and large books of business.
The Private Client Program is driven by two critical roles — Licensed Private Bankers and Private Client Advisors. Licensed Private Bankers work to identify investment opportunities with new and existing clients and refer them to the Private Client Advisor. The Private Client Advisor maintains a close working relationship with branch and business line teams to craft a plan incorporating the client’s full relationship opportunities with the bank. This partnership-based delivery model eliminates internal competition and is backed by a competitive and uncapped commission structure. The most common career path is Licensed Private Banker > Private Client Advisor, but these sales-focused roles come with a wide variety of professional growth paths within Key’s banking and investment services ecosystem.
All members of this team are FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) and state Life & Health Insurance licensed. However, if you have a passion for investments and helping others but are still early in your licensing journey, we welcome you to apply. Key allows new employees to finish their licensing on the job, and we also financially support them in completing and maintaining their licenses.
