One of the first of its kind in the country, A Place for Us apartments offers a diverse and inclusive setting for those looking for something other than traditional accommodations. The Cleveland housing facility designed for clientele over 55 years old, also welcomes lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender residents.

Responding to the needs of the community, Tri-C introduced an initiative to enhance its Public Safety Training program for students pursuing careers in public safety occupations throughout Northeast Ohio. The program includes a campaign to recruit minority and female candidates for first responder jobs, as well as outreach programs to U.S. military veterans, scholarship opportunities. Graduate Julian Drish was one of the first graduates of the new program.

In 2014, corporations and foundations joined forces to support a full-scale renovation, resulting in a transformation that has become the face of Cleveland’s renaissance.

The Ralph Perkins II Wildlife Center & Woods Garden – Presented by KeyBank is an innovative 2-acre outdoor gallery showcasing live native Ohio animals and plants.
