Scholarship enables Glenville High grad to pursue lifelong dream of becoming police officer

Responding to the needs of the community, Tri-C introduced an initiative to enhance its Public Safety Training program for students pursuing careers in public safety occupations throughout Northeast Ohio. The program includes a campaign to recruit minority and female candidates for first responder jobs, as well as outreach programs to U.S. military veterans, scholarship opportunities. Graduate Julian Drish was one of the first graduates of the new program.

Cleveland’s renovated Public Square now a thriving hub for the city’s downtown


Of all the changes that have taken place in downtown Cleveland, one of the most significant and obvious is Public Square. Nestled in-between some of the city’s tallest buildings, the six acre epicenter was largely ignored for years. In 2014, corporations and foundations joined forces to support a full-scale renovation, resulting in a transformation that has become the face of Cleveland’s renaissance.

Visitors get up close and personal with wildlife at new Perkins Wildlife Center


The Cleveland Museum of Natural History is one of the cultural gems in Northeast Ohio. Its programming is critical in helping visitors connect with, understand, and learn about protecting natural resources. The museum recently unveiled its dynamic new outdoor wildlife center. The Ralph Perkins II Wildlife Center & Woods Garden – Presented by KeyBank is an innovative 2-acre outdoor gallery showcasing live native Ohio animals and plants.
