The Small Business Administration (SBA) offers numerous programs to assist entrepreneurs with starting, managing and growing their businesses. However, many misconceptions exist about these government-guaranteed programs but it’s really one of the best-kept secrets.

  • Explanation of how SBA solutions help businesses

John Moshier is a Senior Vice President and National SBA Manager at KeyBank. He is responsible for Key’s Small Business Administration (SBA) programs. Key was recognized as the 2012 SBA 7(a) large lender of the year.

In 2004, John joined KeyBank as the SBA Relationship Manager for North East Ohio. Previously, he was a commercial real estate lender with GE Capital for the State of Ohio and spent more than 6 years with National City, serving in various management capacities before becoming a commercial banker.

John holds a Bachelor of Political Science and Public Administration degrees from the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio. John was awarded a certificate for completion of Green Belt program while working at GE.

John is a member of the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (NAGGL). He is also a member of the Board of Trustees for Cleveland Growth Capital Corp., member of the Cleveland Downtown Alliance and Board of Director for the NE Ohio chapter of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.
