Summary

On September 1, 2022, the Housing Authority of the City of Everett (EHA or the Authority) closed its Series 2022 Bonds, issued to permanently finance its acquisition of the Huntington Park Apartments workforce housing project. This represents EHA’s first bond issuance using its General Revenue pledge on a rated bond issuance. The strength of EHA’s credit allowed it to receive a 100% LTV short-term acquisition loan earlier this year (provided by Key Government Finance) which was then fully refunded by the Bonds. KeyBanc Capital Markets served as the Authority’s Sole Managing Underwriter on the financing.
