Rick Mackesy is a Managing Director at KeyBanc Capital Markets, based in the firm’s New York office. He focuses on advising professional services companies within the Business Services sector, specializing in consulting, accounting, legal and marketing services.
Mr. Mackesy is recognized for his deep expertise in the professional services sector, helping clients navigate complex M&A and capital raising transactions.
Mr. Mackesy joined KeyBanc Capital Markets from Jefferies’ Business Services group, where he led coverage of the professional services sector. He held prior roles at Morgan Stanley and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. His experience includes executing transactions totaling more than $50Bn in deal value across mid-market and large-cap deals.
Mr. Mackesy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business. He is also a CFA charterholder.
