James Kenefick is a Managing Director in the Financial Sponsors Group at KeyBanc Capital Markets (KBCM), which he joined in 2021. Based in Los Angeles, he has over 25 years of experience in a variety of strategic advisory transaction roles. James specializes in mergers and acquisitions, debt capital markets, and equity capital markets engagements.
Prior to joining KBCM, he was with SunTrust Banks in the Financial Sponsors Group. James also headed the Los Angeles office and ran West Coast Sponsor Coverage for GE Antares, a division of GE Capital.
James earned a BA in History and Political Science from Williams College and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
