Tom King

Tom King is a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Financial Sponsors Group at KeyBanc Capital Markets (KBCM), which he joined in 2008. Based in Chicago, he has over 30 years of investment banking experience and specializes in advising private equity clients in mergers & acquisitions, debt capital markets, and equity capital markets engagements.

Prior to joining KBCM, he was a Managing Director with CIT Mergers & Acquisitions Group. Tom also worked for Salomon Brothers/Citi for over 10 years, in both New York and Chicago, where he led Midwest Private Equity Coverage. 

Tom earned a BA in Economics from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern. He serves on the Board for the Archdiocese of Chicago’s Catholic Education Scholarship Trust and the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of The John G. Shedd Aquarium.
