Oliver Janssen

Oliver Janssen is a Managing Director and leads the Financial Sponsors effort in Utilities, Power & Renewable Energy and Infrastructure at KeyBanc Capital Markets (KBCM), which he joined in 2021. Based in San Francisco, he has over 30 years of financial advisory experience in a range of corporate finance activities including leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, high-yield offerings, senior debt offerings, public equity offerings, and advisory services.

Prior to joining KBCM, he worked at Fifth Third Securities where he focused on Renewable Energy Investment Banking. Oliver also worked at MVP Capital where he was a founder and Co-Head of the Renewable Energy practice. Prior to MVP, he was the CEO of eIQ Energy, a startup power electronics company focused on solar applications, for which he raised several rounds of venture capital. He started his career at Hultquist Capital, where he provided financial advisory services to technology companies, primarily in the semiconductor space. 

Oliver earned his B.A. in English from Kenyon College and an M.I.M. in Finance from Arizona State’s Thunderbird School of Global Management.
