Ted Kaehler is a Vice President focused on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising for clients for hospitals and health systems. Ted joined Cain Brothers in 2016 and has over 5 years of experience advising healthcare companies. His notable transactions include MultiCare Health System’s acquisition of Capital Medical Center, Verity Health System of California’s sale of hospital assets, the sale of Steward Health Choice Arizona to BCBS of Arizona, the sale of California Cryobank to GI Partners, The Steadman Clinic’s strategic affiliation with Orthopedic Care Partners, the sale of SeraCare to LGC, advising Blackstone on its acquisition of CARD, advising Patricia Industries on its acquisition of Sarnova, and the sale of Health Resources to Promedica.
Prior to joining Cain Brothers, Ted worked in various finance and business development roles at 3M Company gaining experience in audit, treasury, M&A, and corporate strategy.
Ted earned a BBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is also a CFA charterholder.
