Lost or Stolen Cards
Losing your credit or debit card can be stressful, we’re here to help.
Your security is important to us. We have fast, easy ways for you to lock a missing credit card, or report a card lost or stolen.
Report Your KeyBank Debit or Credit Card Lost or Stolen
You can report a debit card lost or stolen using online banking, under “Manage Cards.”
Credit and debit cards can be reported lost or stolen by calling 1-800-KEY2YOU® (1-800-539-2968). For clients using a TDD/TTY device, please call 1-800-539-8336.
Lock a Misplaced KeyBank Credit or Debit Card
If your card is lost, you can place a temporary lock on it in online banking and mobile banking, under “Manage Card.” Select “Lock/Unlock Card” and use the toggle to select your option. Or call us at 1-800-KEY2YOU® (1-800-539-2968).
The temporary lock stops new activity from posting to your account and gives you time to find your card. When locked, the card can be used to make payments (such as recurring payments for an auto loan), but it cannot be used for purchases. Remember, if a card is permanently lost or stolen, you’ll need to report it and request a replacement card.
